Thank You Tameside!

Tameside Toy Appeal 2021

Action Together Tameside ran a fantastic Tameside Toy Appeal in 2021 with a brilliant team of volunteer Doorstep Elves and Sleigh Drivers. Many local businesses and community groups signed up to be local drop-off points across Tameside. They also offered the chance to donate online via Just Giving.

Action Together would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that was involved in the 2021 Tameside Toy Appeal!

2021 was another difficult year for all of us and one where so many families found themselves struggling financially. Action Together has organised the Tameside Toy Appeal for many years with the aim of supporting families to make sure that no child has to go without a present at Christmas. Due to the pandemic the Appeal was needed more than ever before, and the people of Tameside responded with amazing kindness and generosity.

The Appeal would not work without the support of local people, volunteers, schools, community groups, charities, children's centres, churches and businesses. This year Action Together were supported by:

It is thanks to the people of Tameside that this year’s Appeal has been such a massive success and made such a real difference to families in Tameside.

Thank you to everyone who supported and donated to the appeal - you are amazing!

Action Together have made a special video to thank everyone for their support and to share some of the highlights from the 2021 Tameside Toy Appeal which can be found here.
